Mr Teo Chuan Teck
UPON FINDING Mr Teo Chuan Teck, Non-practising CPA, guilty of misconduct pursuant to Rule 40.1, read with Rule 41.1, and Rule 40.4, read with paragraph 1.5 of the Third Schedule of the ICPAS (Membership and Fees) Rules, in that he, as the then Financial Controller of Cosco Corporation Singapore Limited, had admitted to insider trading involving transactions in Contracts for Differences (CFDs) relating to the shares of Cosco Corporation Singapore Limited and was imposed a civil penalty of S$320,000 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Disciplinary Committee ordered that the said Mr Teo Chuan Teck be removed from the register and that he shall cease to be a member of the Institute with effect from 12 December 2008.
