 Q: How do I change my website password?   Last Update - 03/03/2004
A : Login with your given User ID and Password
Click My Profile
Click Done
Overwrite the password
Confirm password again
Save the changes
(refer to change password.doc for more information)

 Problem Accessing The Member Handbook   Last Update - 18/02/2008
For Windows Vista Users.

Scenario cannot use mouse to click the hyperlink.

1. Launch Microsoft Winwords Software
2. Click the office Button (Located on the top left hand corner)
3. Click Word Options
4. Scroll to Advanced Tab
5. Uncheck on the Use CTRL + Click to follow hyperlink.

Scenario cannot launch Handbook CDROM.

1. Ensure that your Personal Computer or Laptop is install with MS Office 2003 and above.
2. If you do not have MS Office install on your computer you may want to download the viewer from this link http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=95E24C87-8732-48D5-8689-AB826E7B8FDF&displaylang=en

Irritated by the User Account Control (UAC)

1. You may want to know where to turn on and off the UAC.
2. Go to control panel
3. Click User Accounts
4. Look for Turn User Account on or off.
5. Uncheck the Use User Account Control (UAC) feature




 Q: How do I obtain my User ID & Password ?   Last Update - 01/03/2004
A: You must be a member of ICPAS.

All members have been issued their User ID and Password via a circular sent on 4 April 2002 (A4/2002).

If you have lost or forgotten your current password, please email webmaster@icpas.org.sg.



 Q: How do I configure my ICPAS email ?   Last Update - 03/03/2004
A: There are 3 options to configure your email.
Please read the instructions provided in the Procedure
to configure Email.

 What is my User ID ?   Last Update - 14/02/2003
User ID is your NRIC Number.

Important Point To Take Note :
Please do not keyin any PREFIX for SINGAPORE NRIC #.
Also remember to use your official reference.
(see example below)

Example :
User ID : 1234567G
Password : 12345





 Q: What happens if I lose my password ?   Last Update - 01/03/2004
A: All members have been issued their user ID via a circular A4/2002 sent to members on 4 April 2002.

If you have lost or forgotten your current password, please email webmaster@icpas.org.sg.

In the email, please specify the following :-
Subject Title : Reset Password
Mail Body : Provide your NRIC number, full name and membership number.

Note : This service is exclusive to ICPAS Members.



 Q: How do I launch the Members' Handbook from the CDrom Drive ?   Last Update - 01/03/2004
A: This option is only applicable when members or subscribers have purchased the Cdrom Handbook from the Institute.

Once you have received the Members' Handbook, launch the Handbook in your system.

If you have turned off the autorun launcher in your system,
follow the instructions below :-
- Insert your CD into your Cdrom Drive.
- Launch your explorer and look for your Cdrom Drive.
- Double click on the file “master_Handbook Contents.htm”

This will launch the Handbook menu in your browser



 Q: Are the website password and email password the same?   Last Update - 01/03/2004
A: The website password and ICPAS email password are different.

The website password was issued to ICPAS members on 2 April 2002. This password may only be used to access the ICPAS website.

As for the email password, it may be obtained upon signup.

To signup for the email:-
- Login to the ICPAS website (www.icpas.org.sg) with your user ID and password
- Click My Profile.
- Lookout for email particular
- To apply the ICPAS email, click "apply now"
- Key in your email name.
- Print out and follow the instructions provided to setup your email
