Seminar Objective(s)
This workshop will help participants understand the Singapore income tax rules relating to the taxation of individuals and partnerships. Under taxation of individuals, companies will learn the latest tax changes so as to enable them to package their employees’ remuneration in the most tax efficient manner, whilst ensuring full compliance with statutory reporting requirements. For taxation of partnerships, the latest tax treatment for limited liability partnerships will be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on the preparation of Form IR8As and tax returns for both entities. Where applicable, practical examples, illustrations and case studies (including recent court cases) will be used to enable participants to relate and apply to real life tax situations.
