| Overview |
The Young Accountant Group Committee was launched on 27 June 2006 to create initiatives to engage and provide young accountants in their 20s and 30s with opportunities for professional and leadership developments.
Young accountants in the early phase of their career often have unique needs in areas of their career, learning and lifestyle. Through this Committee, ICPAS hopes to proactively engage this group of members so as to help them develop their career and achieve greater competence and knowledge and help them rise to leadership positions in the organisations they serve.
The young CPA Group is formed with the following objectives:
- To provide a platform for young accountants in their 20s and 30s with opportunities for professional and leadership developments
- To nurture talents and encourage leadership and entrepreneurship among young accountants
- To promote the relevance of membership of ICPAS, making it a premium institute, which every young finance professionals would aspire to be part of
- To encourage cross-industry interactions and cross learning with leaders and organizations in other industries among young accountants

The Institute would like to encourage all members in their 20s to 30s to contribute more suggestions towards the activities so the groups can constantly meet and network.
