It was yet another interesting evening of networking for young accountants as they gathered at National Museum Singapore on 10 April to learn from the experts from Robert Half International on the skillsets employers value and appreciate for various finance positions
Organised by the Young Accountants Group Committee, the committee also invited Ms Claire Chiang to share her secret of maintaining work life balance, amidst her demanding career as a Senior Vice President of Banyan Tree Holdings Ltd, with participants. Who is in a better position to mete out such advice than Ms Chiang, who has excelled as successful entrepreneur, community leader, woman politician, social activist and author!
In addition, Clinical Psychologist Ms Zena Kang and Registered Psychologist Ms Koo Shen Lin, both from Counselling, Assessment and Therapy Services (CATS), were also present to guide participants through an interactive session of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Psychology Test (MBTI Psychology Test) identifying various personality types so as to give participants a competitive edge when managing career and personal development.
Due to interesting backgrounds of the various speakers and the program lined up, the event saw an overwhelming response from members and was fully booked before the closing date of registration. One lucky winner walked away with a brand new iPod, sponsored by Robert Half International, the exclusive sponsor of the evening's event.
